White Half Runner Bean Seeds.  Heirloom White Half Runner Bean was first seen in seed catalogs in 1825.  This green bean was raised by German settlers in the Carolinas.  Heirloom White Half Runner Bean is a half-runner type plant that produce 4" long, round green beans with white seeds.  White Half Runner Bean can be used as a green snap bean or left to fully mature and use as a dry bean.  If you choose not to eat all of your harvest fresh, they are well suited for freezing or canning.  Bring on your most challenging weather as White Half Runner Bean can take it!!  You can let the plants dry down and use these as a dry bean, as you would any dry bean.  We prefer to use them as green beans.  White Half Runner Snap Beans are a good bean to plant with corn, as they can climb up the stalks but not weigh them down as much as some pole beans.  60 Days until harvest.  Packet contains approximately 50 Heirloom White Half Runner Bean Seeds grown naturally with love and care.  Happy planting!  Half-runner beans have runners 3' long and can be grown as you would bush or pole beans.
