Brown Rice Bean Seeds

Brown Rice Bush Bean Seeds (P. vulgaris)  Brown Rice Bush Beans are so named because their size and shape resemble grains of rice. Brown Rice Bush Beans also compliment rice dishes well.  Their small size, makes them a quick cooking bean. The beans are slightly larger than the white variety, average size is less than 1/2" long and 3/16" in diameter. Like White Rice Bean, Brown Rice Bush Beans are a dry shell variety that can also be used as a tasty and tender green snap bean, just pick it early, when the pods start to plump, as you would any snap bean. Brown and Black Rice Beans naturally have that earthy flavor that dark seeded green snap beans have.  The leafy bush type plants are prolific, setting blooms throughout the growing season.  For dry beans, pods are ready to pick when they are mature and dried down.  Harvest green snap beans in about 55 days.  85 days until full maturity.  Packet contains approximately 50 seeds grown naturally with love and care.  Happy Planting!  We have a wide variety of Heirloom Vegetable, Herb, and Flower Seeds for sale. With all of our seeds: Your first packet ships for $2.50. All additional packets ship free. So your total shipping on a seed order is $2.50 no matter how many packets you order.
