The seeds are the most commonly used part of the Caraway Herb and can be used whole or ground. Caraway seeds have a strong sweet anise like flavor and are commonly used in breads like rye bread. The plants grow 1-2 feet tall and have frilly foliage that looks like the foliage of Queen Ann's Lace or Carrot plants. The leaves and root of Caraway are great used in soups and sauces.
