Guajillo Chile Pepper Seeds.  Heirloom guajillo chile pepper is mildly hot.  The tall plants of guajillo chili pepper are sturdy with lots of leaves.  Guajillo chili pepper produce lots of slightly tapered thin skinned peppers which average 1 1/2" wide and 5" long in size.  Guajillo Peppers start out green turning to a deep dark red when mature.  Guajillo chili are best harvested at the full maturity color for the richest flavor when dried.  The dried Guajillo Chilis are a rich red brown color with a dark purple sheen.  Guajillo Chili Pepper is very popular in Mexico, where it is often used as one of the 3 peppers for Mole Sauce. Guajillo Chili Chile Hot Peppers are excellent used in Chilli fresh.  Guajillo Peppers thin walls make them an excellent choice for drying for later use.  We often soak the Guajillo Chili peppers we dry in warm water for 1/2 an hour them puree them in the blender to use in sauces such as enchilada sauce.  Guajillo chile Pepper is similar to the Puya Pepper, only larger and milder. 86 days until harvest.  Packet contains approximately 25 seeds grown naturally with love and care.  Happy Planting!  We have a wide variety of Heirloom Vegetable, Herb, and Flower Seeds for sale.
