Cowpeas are a common food in the southern United States. Cowpeas are sometimes called Crowder, named after their growing habit, they are crowded together in their pods, causing them to have ridges or flattened areas, instead of being rounded as most peas are. All seed come to you in paper packets with basic planting instructions on the back. We grow, harvest and handle all our seeds ourselves.
